Fog Bank Contest Arrives at Rockaway Beach

Guess how many cotton balls. Here's your chance to win a prize of $50!

This week, the Fog Fest Fog Bank arrived in Rockaway Beach after spending two weeks at First National Bank of Northern California in Linda Mar Shopping Center, where over 100 contestants entered.

The Fog Bank is the oldest contest of the Fog Fest, which takes place Sept. 28-29, promoting and celebrating the City of Pacifica and raising funds for local non-profit community groups.

Contestants can win a prize of $50 for guessing the closest number of cotton balls actually contained in a lucite tank containing a miniature Pedro Point Model.

There is one winner for each location, you can enter more than once, and each $50 prize donated by there participating bank or business where the Fog Bank makes a stop.

The Fog Bank will be in front of Stearns Lending in the lobby of 205 Rockaway Beach Avenue, until August 12 when it moves back to Linda Mar, at the Wells Fargo inside the Safeway for another two weeks.
