Students grades five through eight at the Alma Heights Christian Academy enjoy the same focused curriculum…More incorporating both faith and academic classes as they did at the Alma Heights Christian Academy Elementary school, but with increased opportunity in music instruction, technology clubs and after-school competitive sports.
In fact, music classes are required at the middle school and students can receive extracurricular private instruction in piano, cello, violin and guitar. In sports, they'll compete in the Public Schools Athletic League in such sports as flag football, soccer (Alma Heights Christian Academy has a strong tradition in soccer) and volleyball.
Classes are small, as is the case in all grades at Alma Heights Christian Academy, with a student-to-teacher ratio of about 12 to one.
Middle schoolers share a campus with Alma Heights High schoolers, which features a large computer and science lab, library, gymnasium and sports fields.
