Golden Gate Stables

Golden Gate Stables is a horse boarding facility that has been operating in Pacifica since 1958. It has formerly been known as Waddie Ranch and Park Pacifica Stables. It is home to the largest covered arena on the West Coast measuring 220x130 feet with clay and sand footing that is fully lighted for night and riding in bad weather. The ranch also has a smaller uncovered arena, a small covered turnout, a 60x60 round pen for cutting horses, and 2 large barns.
Currently the ranch has full or self-service private stalls in our 2 large barns available for a monthly fee. The fee includes full access to all of the arenas and turnouts, including the large covered arena. There are also trails that lead from the ranch to Sweeney Ridge and San Andreas Trails around the San Andreas Lake, Baquiano Trail for beach access, and many trails leading to Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Since there aren’t any trainers here there is less competition for using the facilities. Our boarders come first so feel free to set up your jumps and barrels for practice without hassle. Most of our boarders have been here a long time and we like it that way. If you are interested in joining the Golden Gate Stables family please contact us for more information about boarding your own horse here.
