Rival Football Game: HMB High Cougars vs. Terra Nova

It’s the Skull Game when rivals Terra Nova and Half Moon Bay High football teams play their annual game closing the football season. The game starts at 7 p.m. at 1450 Terra Nova Blvd, Pacifica. Terra Nova High School, Frosh/Soph play at 4 p.m.

Scouting for Food Drive

Boy Scouts of all ages from the Pacific Skyline Council will be collecting non-perishable food from locations throughout San Mateo and northern Santa Clara Counties during their annual "Scouting for Food" collection drive. Starting at 9 a.m., bring non-perishable, non-expired foods to the Pacifica Resource Center, 1809 Palmetto Ave. — use the Palmetto Ave. side ramp to drop-off.

Purchase native plants for your garden and support Pacifica Gardens by buying lunch at Pacifica Gardens, 830 Rosita Road, behind the Linda Mar Education Center.

Pacifica Education Foundation Casino Night

Gamble the evening away for a good cause at the Pacifica Education Foundation's Casino Night. Bring a group of friends for a fun night out in Pacifica. Also featuring hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and a silent auction. Funds support Pacifica middle school band and K-8 STEM learning programs. At Pedro Point Firehouse. A delicious assortment of hors d’oeuvres is included in the fun, and each entry comes with one drink ticket.
