Literary Cake Contest

Check out all the entries for the Literay Cake Contest at the Sharp Park Library. Contestants were to pick a favorite book and create a cake to portray it.  Bakers from teens to adults were encouraged to enter with a book-themed cake. See what creations your neighbors came up with.

Pacifica's Garden By The Sea Tour

Come and view this year’s selection of the beautiful and interesting Pacifica gardens. Hosted by the Pacifica Garden Club, there will be a total of 11 gardens this year, 9 privately owned and two bonus public gardens. Tickets are $20 and the tour starts at the Pacifica Center for the Arts, Mildred Owen Concert Hall at 1220 Linda Mar Blvd. There will also be a plant sale. Proceeds from the Tour, a Raffle and the Plant Sale benefit various local non-profit organizations.

Come and meet the love of your life at the Northern California Family Dog Rescue mobile adoption event being held at Annabee's, Pacifica's own Doggie Boutique, Cafe, DayCare, Hotel and Spa in the Pedro Point Shopping Center next to Linda Mar Beach.

Thomas A. Ekkens: Art & Photography Scapes Reception at AGITF

Meet the artist at a reception at A Grape in the Fog (AGITF), your friendly wine bar by the beach in Pacifica on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. with live music, food, drinks and more! Thomas A. Ekkens will be showing his art and photography scapes at AGITF through June 26. This new work by Ekkens, shown for the first time at A Grape in the Fog, was inspired by landscapes, cityscapes, bodyscapes and mindscapes. Photography was used as a starting point for all images, and then rendered into artistic impulse, visual setting and candid observation.
