Every year the Pacifica Mother's Club (PMC) donates funds to the Pacifica Resource Center.
This year the mother's club was able to give $955 raised from the St. Patrick's dinner and raffle, which was held on March 14, 2013.
"This was the first time the PMC partnered with the St. Patrick's Men's Club, but we hope to do it again next year," said Jenna Settino, PMC's Communications Coordinator. "The PMC Board voted to donate the proceeds of the raffle to the Paciifica Resource Center."
PMC members donated more than 25 gift baskets, each containing a different theme, such as a movie night basket, wine & chocolate basket, beer basket, milk and cookie basket, fitness basket, beach basket, spa basket, coffee basket, and more.
"We'd like to to thank PMC's playgroup coordinators and its members for organizing and putting together the incredible gift baskets," said Settino.
Other local businesses and community organizations that donated items include Pacifica Yoga, Sharp Park Golf Course, April's Yoga and Pilates, Allura Skin and Laser Center, and Catholic Charities CYO.
"We thought this fundraiser was an excellent way to give back to this organization," said Settino.
