A Pacifica community environmental group will hold two coastal preservation events this weekend.
A Mussel Rock cleanup is scheduled for Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. A Linda Mar Beach habitat restoration will be held on Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon.
The Pacifica Beach Coalition is organizing both events.
The meeting spot for the Mussel Rock cleanup is the car park at the end of Westline Drive. Volunteers for the Linda Mar Beach event will meet at the Portola Statue at the Community Center for the Linda Mar Beach.
Volunteers for the coastal cleanup are encouraged to bring their own reusable gloves, buckets, burlap or mesh bags and pick-up sticks.
The coastal cleanup is the group's third this year, which makes it eligible for Adopt-A-Beach status.
