Second Grader Tackles Flotilla of Plastic Bottles For Earth Day
Young and old, Pacificans picked it up for Earth Day.
I wanted to make sure that you were all able to see these great photos from the Earth Day clean up on Saturday.
My daughter Maya started cleaning up with a second grader from her school named Sam. Sam went into the mouth of San Pedro Creek and cleaned up a big flotilla of plastic bottles. He is turtlely cool and so inspiring!
During the celebration on Saturday, Maya was able to deliver letters and petitions supporting AB1776 directly to Assemblymember Jerry Hill.
