Pacifica American Gets Payback, Grabs District 3 Title

Andrew Harkness and Christian Falk combined on a four-inning no-hitter. Chris Rodriguez’s first inning homer set the tone for the route.

A day after experiencing its only playoff loss, the Pacifica American All-Stars came back with a vengeance.

The 9-and 10-year-old Little Leaguers left nothing to chance in a mercy-ruled 10-0 throttling of Danville on Wednesday at San Mateo’s Lakeshore Park to win the Section 3 title, the San Mateo Daily Journal reports.

Pacifica’s unbeaten status meant they had to be defeated twice to be eliminated from the tournament.

Andrew Harkness pitched three innings, combining with Christian Falk on a four-inning no-hitter.

So after experiencing an on Tuesday, Pacifica had a chance to exact a measure of revenge, and it took advantage.

Chris Rodriguez’ two-run homer highlighted a three-run rally in the first inning.

Pacifica broke the game open when it sent 13 batters to the place in a seven-run third.
