The Star: A day after breaking Terra Nova High's career scoring record, junior sensation Terilyn Moe showed no signs of slowing down, scoring 29 points on Friday night to lead the Tigers to a semifinal victory in the Peninsula Athletic League tournament. Moe, whose point total was the most in a tournament game in the last five years, scored eight points during a decisive 10-0 run at the end of the second quarter in which the Tigers broke open a 27-21 game and cruised to their 16th consecutive win.

The Turning Point: Just when upset-minded Burlingame (12-13) was starting to get some traction, Terra Nova went on a 10-0 that stretched the Tigers' lead to 37-21 late in the second quarter. Terra Nova kept forcing the issue, opening up a commanding 61-32 lead late in the third quarter with a decisive 18-5 run that put the game out of reach.

What's Next? Terra Nova (22-4) takes aim at its third consecutive PAL tournament title when it plays Mills (17-7) in the championship game today at 6 p.m. at Burlingame High. in Friday’s earlier semifinal.

The Bottom Line: Terra Nova is poised for a deep Central Coast Section Division III playoff run after dominating PAL play all season. The Tigers, No. 3 in , are peaking at the right time heading into tonight's tournament title game against sixth-ranked Mills, a team they've already beaten twice. Summerville believes a No. 2 CCS seed is within the Tigers' reach.
