Kids 4 Change Bakesale for Animals

Are you an animal lover? 

Kids 4 Change kids are devoting their time to support the  Pennisula Humane Society this project. 

We are doing an item drive and bakesale on Nov 5 from 12-3 at Ptown Cafe.   Doggie AND human treats will be available for sale.

Stop by for a doggie treat on your walk to the Quarry and/or please bring any of the items below to help the PHS!

We are looking for:

1. Blankets (used or new)
2. Paper towels
3. Newspapers
4. Towels (used or new)

For the dogs 

1. New or clean collars and leashes

1. Kongs (all sizes, especially Extreme and/or X-Large Kongs)
2. Round plastic food storage containers (at least 25 oz.)
3. Large cans of chicken broth for making enrichment treats
4. Harnesses (preferably “Sensation” or “Easy Walk” harnesses)
5. Unopened packages of dog treats (especially soft ones)
6. Creamy peanut butter (unopened)
7. Lavender oil (it’s relaxing for dogs too!)
8. Rope toys

For the cats

1. Fancy Feast or Friskies cat food (for tempting finicky eaters)
2. Canned tuna
3. Ping-pong balls, Golf balls, Feather Toys
4. Pipe cleaners
5. Plastic film canisters
6. Plastic shower curtain rings
7. Brown paper bags
8. Empty cereal/cracker boxes
9. Large shoeboxes (without lids) for the cats to sleep in

For the rabbits

1. Untreated wicker items for chewing (baskets, balls, knick-knacks etc.)
2. Wooden houses and tunnels for hiding and chewing

For the birds

1. Pellet Food (small, medium and large pellets)
2. Rope perches, Bird Toys (especially mirrors)

For the reptiles

1. Natural colored towels (green, beige, cream, brown, tan, etc)
2. Reptile or aquarium logs/décor for hiding
3. Heavy shallow dishes
