BIKE TO WORK DAY will be on Thursday, May 10th. This year will be the Bay Area's 18th annual celebration that promotes bicycling as a healthy, fun and viable form of transportation, with offers of great prizes and recognitions. Are you ready?

Visit the many Energizer Station in San Mateo County on your way to work on Bike to Work Day and enjoy free coffee, snacks, enter a raffle for a free bike and even get a free musette bag.

Why Bike to Work?
More than one million Bay Area residents live within five miles of their workplace, an ideal distance for bicycling. The work commute only represents 23% of all trips, so consider how you also may be able to bike to shop, to school, for errands, and for social events. In a world concerned with climate change, pollution, congestion and wasted time, the question should really be: Why not bike to work?
Do I need to register for Bike to Work Day?
Registration is free, quick and easy. You don't need to register, but the only way to win awesome prizes is to enter the raffle. By registering you will be making a pledge to Bike to Work and this will allow the Bay Area Bicycle Coalition to better calculate participation. When you register, you will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a grand prize. Click here to register.
Team Bike Challenge
Make bicycling a fun, team-building sport by forming or joining a group to compete with others. The team who travels the most days by bicycle in May wins the grand prize. Create or join a group now by cllicking here.

Pledge to BIKE TO WORK for an average of eight times from April 1 to June 1, and receive a $40 gift certificate from the Peninsula Congestion Relief Alliance and be entered into a raffle for prizes including a folding bicycle after filling out a usage survey.
