Thanks Miss Mills! You Taught Me a Mean Bassoon

Pacifica residents recall their most memorable teachers for National Teacher Appreciation Day.

Everyone has a teacher has touched their life in a memorable way. If you're lucky, you had more than one.

Today is National Appreciation Day, and we asked readers on Facebook who their most memorable teachers were.

"My favorite teacher was my 8th grade music teacher, Miss Mills," said Lisa Bolle. "I was auditioning for all state bassoon and she listened to my audition through the door. When I came out, she grabbed me, jumping up and down and said, 'Man, you played the dog [expletive] out of that!' My first fan."
