Suspicious Man Seen Driving Around Vallemar School

Pacifica School District Superintendent Wendy S. Tukloff pens a letter to parents and guardians to be on the alert of a man seen driving a black Toyota 4Runner around the school Friday.

A letter from the Pacifica School District Superintendent Wendy S. Tukloff went out yesterday alerting parents and guardians that a suspicious man was seen driving past Vallemar School and side streets several times Friday.

According to Tukloff, during the morning drop-off at Vallemar School, a black Toyota 4Runner vehicle driven by a white male, stocky build, balding, possibly mid to late 40s was seen driving slowly past the school and side-streets several times.

The suspicious activity was also reported to the Pacifica Police Department.

In the letter, Tukloff asks parents and guardians "to be on alert" and call the Pacifica Police Department at 650-738-7314 should you see this vehicle "cruising around our schools or anywhere that children are present."

The schools will be speaking to all students regarding safety and walking with at least one other friend. Additionally, the Pacifica Police will be monitoring the schools closely, says Tukloff.
