Proceeds From Crab Feed Benefit Terra Nova Tigers

Starting on Tuesday, Jan. 3, tickets for the 2nd Annual Terra Nova High School Crab and Pasta Feed are available for purchase.

All Terra Nova High School parents, friends and community members are invited to attend the event, a dinner and auction that will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, from 5:30 to 11 p.m. with all proceeds benefiting the Terra Nova High School PTO and Sports Boosters.

Tickets are $50 per person or tables for eight can be reserved for $450 as a corporate sponsor. As a corporate sponsor, guests receive two bottles of wine, a reserved table, and sponsor recognition in the Pacifica Tribune during the event.

"This is a very fun night with amazing food and drinks, live entertainment by The Rodeo Clowns, and a great live and silent auction, all to support the Terra Nova Tigers," said Charlotte Jacobs, Sports Boosters merchandise volunteer. "Last year, all 175 tickets sold out fast."

Also last year, the event made "close to $20,000," said Jacobs, "and we're hoping to do the same, but we know it's going to be tough this year because of the economy."

Even so, everything else from food to entertainment will be the same as last year, with crab from Half Moon Bay, wine and beer, and all the pasta you can eat, "so that's a sign of a good party," said Jacobs. "Why change anything when it's already been done right."
