Moms Talk: Where Will Your Kids Be in 2025?

An upcoming seminar will feature top thinkers and policymakers talking about mapping the course for your kids. What would you like to know?

The upcoming San Mateo County Children and Youth Summit called "Distination 2025: Mapping the Course for our Kids" will explore the question of "where will kids be in 2025?" while considering such facts as

  • 54% of 3rd graders are proficient readers
  • 28% of 7th graders have an unhealthy weight
  • 32% of 11th graders have felt sad and hopeless

Keynote speaker Angela Glover Blackwell, author, PolicyLink Founder and CEO, Supervisor Carole Groom and Superintendent Anne Campbell will be there to kend their voices to the discussion.

So, where do you think your kids will be in 2025? Or how about the youth taken as a group? Will they be healthy, well-educated and happy?
