Weekend Painting Workshop: Old Dutch Masters

Through a mixture of demos, slide shows, and hands-on painting sessions, you will learn Wayne Jiang's acrylic glazing and layering techniques to paint like the 17th century Dutch masters.

The class will cover various acrylic techniques, including mixed media and collage, layering in glazes, and combining opaque and transparent painting, as well as best practices for planning and preparation, preparing surfaces, and using photo references. You'll also learn how to create rich tones with a limited color palette. 

 A materials list will be sent on registration. Open to everyone ages 14+
