Paws for Tales

Have a reluctant reader? Studies show children who are reluctant to read in front of peers are much less anxious with an animal present.

Pet Assisted Therapy teams and their handlers from the Peninsula Humane Society & the SPCA's Paws for Tales present this program to encourage improvement in reading skills.

Please note  the Humane Society requires a signed release form for each time a child reads. Please make sure Mom or Dad accompany the child.   The program  is designed for school age children 5-12 yrs and advance sign up is requested.
