Ballot Measures: The League of Women Voters Recommends....

The League of Women Voters of North and Central San Mateo County presents Helen Hutchinson, Senior Director for Program of the League of Women Voters of California.  She will speak about the Nov. 6 state ballot measures which the League supports and opposes, and those on which the League is neutral or takes no position.

The League of women Voters is always nonpartisan.  It does not support political parties or candidates.  However, it is political because it supports or opposes legislation, lobbies legislators and takes stands on ballot measures based on positions adopted by its members during a thorough study process.
