American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Successful completion of this class participants will receive American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification, First Aid Certification, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Oxygen Administration Certificate. Attendance to all four sessions is mandatory.

Prerequisites:

• Must be 15 years of age
• Able to swim 300 yards (12 laps) continuous, demonstration front crawl and breaststroke
• Able to swim 20 yards, dive to retrieve 10lb diving brick from bottom of pool, return to surface & swim 20 yards back with brick (face out of water, hands on brick). Put brick on deck and climb out of pool without using ladder in 1 minute, 40 seconds.

Textbooks, pocket mask and ARC certification included in the fee.

Register by December 6.
