3,000 Giant Cookies Baked for Fundraiser

Effort expected to raise $10,000 for art and education.

Parents and community members came out on Saturday for the annual Kings Mountain Cookie Bake, a volunteer effort where approximately 3,000 cookies are baked to raise money at the upcoming Kings Mountain Art Fair on September 3, 4 and 5 in Woodside.

Cookies sales will benefit the fair as well as the science, music and art curriculum at Kings Mountain Elementary. The school is part of the .
