Who Should Take Vreeland's City Council Seat?

Councilman Jim Vreeland resigned on Monday, and the council will likely appoint his replacement. Who do you think should fill the spot?

Jim Vreeland his Pacifica City Council seat on Monday, and the council has 30 days to either appoint a replacement, who will finish off his term which ends in 2014, or put it to a vote of the public in November. 

Who do you think should take Vreeland's place?

At Monday night's council meeting, , a retired resident who is actively involved in local politics, offered Susan Vellone, owner of and former as a candidate to fill Jim Vreeland's vacated seat.

Bill Collins, former representative of the local Sierra Club chapter, wrote an stating that Leo Leon, the next vote-getter in 2010's council election, ought to take Vreeland's place.
