Sen. Jerry Hill Provides a 'Peek Under the Capitol Dome'

State Senator Jerry Hill will give Pacifica-Daly City Democrats an insider's view of the Capitol and talk about what he sees ahead for the upcoming legislative year.

State Senator Jerry Hill (Democrat-13th Senate District) will provide a "Peek Under the Capitol Dome" at the upcoming Pacifica-Daly City Democrats monthly meeting on Saturday morning, November 16. The breakfast meeting is scheduled to be held in the rear Banquet Room of the Sharp Park Golf Course Restaurant, Sharp Park Blvd and Hwy 1, in Pacifica.

Senator Hill , who represents Pacifica and other communities on the Peninsula and in Silicon Valley, will recap high points in his first year in the State Senate, including having 14 of his bills passed by the Legislature and signed into law by Governor Brown. In addition to discussing the highlights from the 2013 legislative year, Senator Hill will give the local Democrats an insider's view of the Capitol and talk about what he sees ahead for the upcoming legislative year, when the Senate and the Assembly resume session in January.

Senator Hill chairs the Senate's Democratic Caucus, the Environmental Quality Committee and the Energy, Utilities and Communications Committee's Subcommittee on Gas and Electric Infrastructure Safety.

The general pubic is invited. It is neither necessary to be a club member, nor even a Democrat to attend. All are welcome. A full breakfast is offered at $12; continental -$6; coffee only -$3. However, no purchase is required.
