Santa Asks, 'Has Scruffy Been Naughty or Nice?'

The Peninsula Humane Society is offering three chances to have pets pose for photos with Santa Claus.

Santa Claus is visiting San Mateo County early this year; he's making three stops at the Peninsula Humane Society.

The jolly fellow will be at the humane society's new adoption center on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 12-4 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 3 from 3-7 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 8 from 12-4 p.m., giving local residents an opportunity to have their pets pose for a holiday keepsake photo.

Santa will be situated just inside PHS/SPCA’s main entrance at 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame. Parking available on Rollins Road or in PHS/SPCA’s parking lot on Edwards Court.

All guests must bring their own camera and will be responsible for taking their pet’s photo. If they want to join their pet on Santa’s lap, our volunteers can assist.

The low $10 flat fee per “sitting” will benefit PHS/SPCA homeless animals. All pets are welcome.

In years past, Santa has posed with cats, goats, even a snake. Multiple pets may pose in one photo as long as their owner can control them. Dogs must arrive and remain on leash. Owners should bring cats in carriers.

No reservations required. For questions, please call 650/685-8510.
