Pacifica Dogs (and Owners) Have Something to Wag About

Community leaders held a ground breaking at the site of Pacifica's first dog park.

City officials, members of the Pacifica Organization of Canine Helpers (POOCH) and members of the community gathered Thursday afternoon to at the site of Pacifica's first dog park. 

The park, in an eastern field at the , is the first sanctioned off-leash area for dogs (except for the now nearly unreachable Esplanade Beach).

Construction will begin next week on the park. It's slated to open in February.
