Midcoast Community Council To Discuss GGNRA Leash Laws Wednesday

Representatives of the GGNRA will be there to answer questions. Will the Pacifica City Council take up the issue?

From Bill Bechtell of the Montara Dog Group:

Greetings to the pack!

GGNRA will be at the Midcoast Community Council meeting Wednesday to
discuss and take comments on their Dog Management Plan.  Although the
meeting starts at 7:30 pm, Seton Medical Center Coastside, the dog
issue is not scheduled to be heard until 8:25 pm.  The full agenda is
attached.  It is important that we make a strong showing.  Wear your
MDG pin if you have one, and if you don't have one I will bring extras
to hand out.

Also, we still need donations to help pay for the attorney and
environmental consultants who are helping us review the plan and come
up with the best way to refute their preferred alternatives.  If you
have not already donated, please go to my web site and click on the
"Donate" button at the top of the page to find out how you can help.

Does anyone know if the Pacifica Council will take up this issue anytime soon?
Can't hurt to support the Montara Dog Group.  See below.

And I remind you, this will impact on-leash as well as off-leash dog walking.
The "Preferred Plans" that the GGNRA has today bans all dogs from many
trails in Pacifica that we have been using for years.
