Local Officials Take the First Ride on Pacifica's Free Shuttle [PHOTOS]

The Devil's Slide Ride is officially in operation, offering 17 stops throughout Pacifica.

Devil's Slide Ride, a new free shuttle service offering 17 stops in Pacifica, departed for the first time last weekend from the Pacifica Community Center at 540 Crespi Drive with members of the Pacifica City Council, Pacifica Chamber of Commerce, Samtrans and the Transportation Authority on board.

The shuttle service is open to the public and will operate on weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing transportation for Pacifica residents and visitors alike from as far south as Devil’s Slide to as far north as Jean Brink Pool at Oceana High School.

Funding for the shuttle is provided for through a grant from the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) Measure A and the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG).
