Slocum Wins District 4 Seat on County Board of Supervisors

Former County elections chief Warren Slocum beat Redwood City School District trustee Shelly Masur by just over 11 percent.



Warren Slocum has beaten Shelly Masur in the race for the District 4 seat on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.

Warren Slocum, the former elections chief for the San Mateo County Elections Office, joined the race late in the game, but nonetheless made quite a splash. He received the most votes by far in the June primary, garnering 40 percent overall.

Shelly Masur is a trustee on the Redwood City School District board for K-8 schools, and is the executive director of the local nonprofit health organization, Teen Talk. Masur received 21 percent of votes in the June primary.

Maybe Masur should try to clean house in RWC first...the district....and find out what happens to some of the best staff my kids had--wake up
