MCC Agenda for Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Seton at 7:30 p.m.

Highlights of the agenda for the regular MCC meeting next Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Seton Medical Center Coastside, Marine Boulevard & Etheldore, Moss Beach.

Directions: (Take Highway 1 to Marine Boulevard and follow hospital signs uphill)

MCC attendees must park in upper parking lot (first left near top of hill) per hospital policy.

The Council will be discussing and may take action on the following Regular Agenda Items:

Coastside Fire Protection District/CAL FIRE Update – Mackintosh/Burke (8:00) (60 minutes)

Coastside Fire Protection Board of Directors Doug Mackintosh and Gary Burke will discuss the future of the coastside’s fire protection services and answer questions. Director Mackintosh will address the merits of a "standalone" department. Director Burke will address the merits of keeping CAL FIRE in the department.

Desired Outcome:

Inform the public and take comments on the future of Coastside Fire Protection District (CFPD).

Harbor District Issues/Projects Update – Ketcham (9:00) (15 minutes) Presentation of issues and planned projects at Pillar Point Harbor.

Desired Outcome: Informational update.
