Highlights of the agenda for the MCC Special meeting nextTuesday, October 2, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Granada Sanitary District Meeting Room, 504 Ave. Alhambra, 3rd Floor, El Granada
The Council will be discussing and may take action on the following Special Agenda Items:

Special Agenda – The Council may take action on the following items:
Find out what's happening in Pacificawith free, real-time updates from Patch.
- Update on CCT Midcoast Committee Erickson (7:15) (15 minutes) Discuss the status of the committee’s work to date and plans for completing work to meet the proposed objectives.
Desired Outcome: Identify requirements for the completion of the committee’s work and identify any points of special emphasis to the committee.
- Comment Letter of Highway and Trail Projects - Erickson (7:30) (15 minutes) Discussion of issues on Hwy 1 and the trails. Present a letter identifying concerns with the Highway 1 Safety and Mobility Study and follow on projects and request a report from the county addressing these items.
Desired Outcome: The Council will consider a letter and send to Steve Monowitz and Supervisor Horsley.
- Format for Future Public Forums - Kehoe (7:45)(15 minutes) Community forum formats need to be open and transparent to provide the community with a reliable and trustworthy setting.
Desired Outcome: The Council should adopt an agreement on the format for community forums that are consistent with the MCC Bylaws and the community’s interests.
- Reaffirmation of MCC Bylaws and Council Member’s Actions - Kehoe (8:00) (15 minutes) Review of policies of actions, correspondence, and other communications taken by a council member, needs to be reviewed for propriety.
Desired Outcome: Every Council member needs to familiarize themselves with the MCC Bylaws to ensure the rules of the Council are followed and the integrity of the Council is maintained.
- Designating Granada Sanitary District Meeting Room as the permanent MCC meeting place - Stein (8:15) (15 minutes) Consider moving the Council’s permanent meeting place from Seton Hospital to Granada Sanitary District Meeting Room participation.
Desired Outcome: The Council may vote on moving its permanent meeting place from Seton Hospital to Granada Sanitary District Meeting Room.
- Changing MCC Meeting Start Time to 7:00PM - Stein (8:30) (15 minutes) Consider moving the Council’s permanent starting time from 7:30 pm to 7:00pm.
Desired Outcome: The Council may vote on moving its permanent starting time to 7:00pm.
