The San Mateo County Library has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank to offer a Food for Fines program during this holiday season. Developed in collaboration with the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and the Redwood City Library, this community food drive will allow patrons to reduce fines by donating food to those in need from November 15 - December 30, 2010.
Non-perishable boxed or canned donations will be accepted at any of San Mateo County Library's twelve branches . All food will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.
