Did Romney Bribe Voters With Sandwiches?

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin said Tuesday it has filed a election bribery complaint with state election officials.

Shorewood, WI Patch that the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has filed an election bribery complaint against GOP presidential frontrunner Mitt Romney and U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (WI-1), who is emerging as Romney's possible vice presidential candidate and that the Waukesha County District Attorney's Office is investigating. 

The alleged bribery occurred at a campaign rally in the state, the site of a primary victory for Romney.

In a , Romney and Ryan are handing out sub sandwiches to potential supporters. A video edited by the Wisconsin Democratic Party shows Romney leading the rally and telling supporters to go vote, and “If you want another sandwich, there are more back there.”

Wisconsin State law prohibits offering something valued at more than $1 in exchange for a vote.
