On Thursday, Dec. 12, the Pacifica Chamber of Commerce hosted a "Coffee & Muffins" meet and greet event at Nick's Rockaway Restaurant with Lorie Tinfow, Pacifica's first female city manager.
Many community business owners, along with City and Council representatives, attended the event. Tinfow introduced herself and answered questions about the proposed library, a city newsletter, a budget summary "story" and the repaving of Linda Mar Boulevard, which she said is coming in 2014.
A moment of silence, in memory of local icon Nick Gust, was led by Chamber CEO Courtney Harris Conlon before the event began.
