She will enter her please in a Redwood City court today.

A Daly City woman accused of pouring an entire pot of boiling water on her sleeping ex-husband and then hitting him in the head with a baseball bat as he ran to the bathroom on Nov. 26 is expected to enter her plea in response to a murder charge today.

Jesusa Ursonal Tatad, the suspect, was reportedly furious with her ex-husband, who she was still living with in Daly City, because she believed he was cheating on her. After allegedly attacking her ex, she fled the residence and saw a security guard, who dialed 911, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said.

Tatad was arrested at her residence and charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, aggravated mayhem and torture. The victim died one week later at San Francisco General Hospital from second and third degree burns that covered 60 percent of his body, Wagstaffe said.
