Verizon Wireless Store Burglarized

Sheriff's deputies found the front door of the Half Moon Bay store shattered early this morning.

A Verizon Wireless store in Half Moon Bay was burglarized on Sunday by someone who made off with a laptop and two iPhones, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to an alarm at the store at 160-B San Mateo Road at 6:48 a.m.

They arrived to find the glass in the store's front door shattered, and searched the store with the help of a K-9 unit but did not find anyone inside, sheriff's officials said.

The store manager determined that two iPhones and an Acer Notebook computer had been taken. The burglary remains under investigation.
