UPDATE: Traffic Accident on Highway 1 in Pescadero a False Alarm
California Highway Patrol could not locate the accident and did not close the highway.

California Highway Patrol officers could not locate the reported accident on Highway 1 at Pescadero Creek Road in Pescadero and never closed the highway.

California Highway Patrol officers are on the scene but have not closed the road. A spokesman for the agency said he is unsure whether the highway will be closed or not.

San Mateo County Fire Dispatch is reporting a traffic accident on Highway 1 at Pescadero Creek Road in Pescadero.
The California Highway Patrol said that officers are not on scene yet and no further details, such as whether the highway will be closed or the nature of the accident, are known yet.
