Teen Rescued From Rocks at Rockaway Beach

The boy was lifted off of the rocks by helicopter.

A 16-year-old boy stuck on rocks in the Rockaway Beach area in Pacifica was rescued by helicopter Sunday afternoon, according to the North County Fire Authority.

The boy was reported stuck on rocks near 100 Fassler Avenue around 4:45 p.m., fire officials said.

Paramedics were able to access the boy, and a California Highway Patrol helicopter was called to assist with the rescue.

The boy was lifted off of the rocks and taken to an ambulance for treatment of a possible hand injury.
