SSF Man Arrested on Suspicion of Sexually Abusing Young Girl

Police say there may be other victims in the case.

A South San Francisco man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of sexually abusing a young girl, police said Friday.

Kyle Vogt, 36, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of child molestation after a two-week investigation revealed that he allegedly had repeated sexual encounters with a girl when she was between five and 13 years old, according to police.

Vogt was taken to the Redwood City Jail where he is being held without bail.

Detective Ken Chetcuti believes there could be "several other victims" and is following multiple leads in the case, police said.
