SF Man Charged With Peninsula Pimping of 17-Year-Old Girl to Stand Trial

Girl held at gunpoint by 49-year-old who kept her at San Francisco condo and solicited her services on MyRedbook.com, prosecutors say. David Blackwell has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

A judge has ordered a man who was  a 17-year-old girl in San Bruno to stand trial, the San Mateo District Attorney's Office said.

David Blackwell, 49, of San Francisco reportedly was pimping the girl on the adult escort website MyRedbook.com, according to the district attorney's office.

He allegedly kept the teenager in his San Francisco condominium and required she be available at all times to service potential clients, prosecutors said. He also allegedly held a gun to the girl.

The trial for Blackwell, who remains in custody on $1 million bail, is expected to start on Aug. 20. His defense attorney is now trying to get his bail reduced to $100,000 because the human trafficking charges were dismissed.
