Loved ones of Christian Haro have expressed their love throughout the Internet for the young teenage boy since the news of his death surfaced on Sunday.

Christian, who recently moved to Pacifica from Newark, is believed to have been one of two victims of a fatal, early Sunday morning.

Officials with the San Mateo County County Coroner’s Office have yet to confirm the identities of the victims, who were described as two males – one of whom was middle school aged. However, a family member and school officials in Pacifica have confirmed Christian’s passing.

His passing has shocked both the Pacifica and Newark communities.

“My heart and prayers go out to the family!! My family and [I] knew and adored Christian; he will be missed and forever in our hearts!!,” wrote Crystal Louis on Pacifica Patch.

A woman named Maria on Newark Patch wrote, “Another Angel has gotten his wings. So sad that it had to be so soon. My deepest sympathy to the Haro Family. My prayers are with you all in this time of need. God Bless You!”

Sentiments of love and sympathy were echoed on social media websites:

“I miss you so much. Keep a smile on your face, you’re in a better place #R.i.P,” said a girl by the name of Savina wrote on Twitter.

Officials have yet to determine the cause of the fire. North County Fire Authority spokesman Matt Lucett said firefighters were called to a two-story house fire at 552 Inverness Drive at about 5:55 a.m. Sunday.

Crews on scene initially tried to fight the fire from inside the home, but the flames became too intense and firefighters were forced to retreat, Lucett said.

A candlelight vigil is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the home on Inverness Drive, according to a Facebook user.
