Three Pacifica Patch readers have reported an incident at Skyline and Hickey Boulevard - perhaps a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. We've confirmed the assisted in the incident, but that Daly City Police handled the case. A call to the Daly City PD has yet to be returned.

A representative of the San Mateo County Coroner's Office said the body of a person from Daly City was taken from an incident on Skyline Boulevard and Hickey Boulevard to her office last night.

"There was an accident on Hickey/Skyline where a pedestrian that was hit," said Micaela Corgas in an email last night. "I was one of the people that gave compressions and turned him to his side to clear his airway, but I was wondering if you know of what happened. If he was able to be stabilized or it if was fatal."

A representative of the Pacifica Police Department said someone who might know about the incident was at lunch currently and he did have any information.

"I live in Pacifica, near Fairmont Shopping Center and there are more then 30 cops and coroner vehicle," said Konstancia Milova-Attar.

Police were directing traffic around an incident, one reader reported.

"What accident happened at Skyline and Hickey tonight at about 5:30?" wrote Erika Rigling in an email last night. "I was the first car in line to cross 35 to continue west on Hickey when all kinds of police cars, and two fire engines all stopped on 35 right in front of me...cops directed me to head north on 35 and I swung around down to Pacifica that way."

North County Fire, also reported to be on the scene, has not yet returned a phone call. The Pacifica Police Department has not published a press release about the incident yet.
