Scott left home without her car or purse and called her mother to tell her she was upset, police said. Police reported her "at risk" because of the comments she made to her family before leaving home, said police spokeswoman Cmdr. Noreen Hanlon.

As police were continuing their search for Scott, an officer found her body Sunday at around 8:30 a.m. near Skyline Boulevard and College Drive, Hanlon said.
