found a deceased 52-year-old San Mateo man in a parked vehicle on Friday night.
Officers were on patrol on the 200 block of Palmetto Avenue at about 11p.m. when they noticed a car with a broken driver’s side window and investigated. They found the man and determined that he was dead.
The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office took the body, but has not yet released the man’s name because they are trying to reach his family.

Police blocked off part of the roadway during the investigation.
