Police Blotter: Woman Attacked at Party; Big Bong Near the Beach

Friday,  July 27

8:55 a.m., Catalina Avenue: A woman told police she couldn't leave for work when her landlord blocked access to her garage amid a dispute. She told police her landlord wasn't violent but "he got in her face."

8:13 p.m., Esplanade Avenue: Burglars stole a gym bag and other luggage form a parked car overnight.

11:40 a.m., Madeira Drive: A mountain bike was stolen from in front of a home.

7:24 p.m., Park Pacifica Avenue: A burglar tried to pry open the glove box of a 1999 BMW 320i.

7:35 p.m., Cabrillo Highway: A woman reported being attacked at a party on Friday night. She told police her attacker pulled her hair and punched her in the face. She requested an emergency protective order.

11:09 p.m., Cabrillo Highway: Burglars smashed in the windows of a car and stole a purse. The incident occurred sometime after 10:30 p.m.

 

Sunday, July 29

12:23 a.m., Heathcliff Drive: A fight was reported in an alleyway along the side of a residential street.

6:49 a.m., Hickey Boulevard: Burglars smashed in a car window.

9:03 a.m., Glasgow Drive: Vandals slashed all four tires of a 1996 Ford Explorer.

8:16 p.m., Cabrillo Highway: Eight people were reportedly smoking marijuana with a "big bong and a torch."
