Police Blotter: This Little Piggy, Skatepark Napping and Another Pit Bull Attack

A run-down of crime and police activity in Pacifica.

Aug. 23 - 3:25p.m: An unknown suspect broke into a storage unit at a facility located on the 1300 block of Palmetto Avenue. The victim reported nearly $5,000 in value of stolen property.

Aug. 25 - 3:39a.m: The manager of an apartment complex on the 300 block of Talbot Avenue reported that an entryway to the building had been damaged. The reporting party was concerned that the entryway doorknob had been tampered with previously, and the responsible suspect may be related to recurring theft reports from the building parking garage.

Aug. 26 - 7:30a.m: A Pacifica resident reported that her vehicle had been broken into overnight while parked on the 700 block of Lundy Way. The unknown suspect smashed one of the car windows and made off with various electronics.

Aug. 27 - 1:19p.m: This little piggy. A stray pig was reportedly seen walking down San Pedro Avenue at Danmann. The pig's owner eventually responded before the SPCA reported to the scene.

Aug. 28 - 6:09p.m: A vehicle was reportedly burglarized while the owner was hiking in the nearby area off of Higgins Way and Adobe Drive.

Aug. 29 - 8:14p.m: Another pit bull attack. A man reported that while on the 1000 block of Linda Mar Boulevard, an off-leash pitbull charged at him and bit him in the leg.

Aug. 30 - 3:24p.m: A group of juveniles were reported to Pacifica Police after an onlooker said he witnessed them break the glass of a Samtrans bus shelter on Coast Highway. 6:32p.m: Napping at the skate park. A homeless male subject was allegedly sleeping in the public skatepark at . 7:52p.m: A resident of the 200 block of Beachview Avenue made a complaint to police that an unknown male subject had appeared at her home and threatened both herself and her son.
