Police Blotter: Thieves Grab Pastries, Booze in Separate Heists; There's Something About the No. 9

The following information was supplied by the Pacifica Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 23

12:12 p.m. - Disturbance - Linda Mar Boulevard - An informant told dispatchers three subjects were involved in fist fight.

 

Saturday, Nov. 24

12:33 a.m. - Welfare Check - Palmetto Avenue - A barely audible informant told California Highway Patrol dispatchers something about the No. 9 and police. The caller was gone by the time police arrived.

8:54 a.m. - Petty Theft - Linda Mar Center - A man in his 20's reportedly stole pastries from a shop. The informant told police "He's been coming in every day stealing."

8:58 a.m. - Accident Major Injury - West Manor Drive and Palmetto Avenue - A female pedestrian in her 70s suffered major injuries when she was struck by a car.

9:13 a.m. - Vehicle Stolen - Kathleen Court - A 2002 black four-door Honda Accord was reported stolen.

9:32 a.m. - Burglary - Mina Lane - Burglars smashed in a car windshield overnight.

10:29 a.m. - Burglary - Heathcliff Drive - Burglars smashed in a car windshield overnight.

11:52 p.m. - Disturbance - Carmel Avenue -  An informant told dispatchers they overheard 10 young males plotting to break into a home. The youths were gone when police arrived.

 

Sunday, Nov. 25

7:14 a.m. - Narcotics - Crespi Drive - An informant who told authorities a man was sleeping in a car parked in their driveway who belongs "with the crackheads across the street." Police arrested the man.

7:58 a.m. - Burglary - Skyline Boulevard - A front door was damaged in a storefront break-in sometime between 2 and 7 a.m.

6:13 p.m. - Assault - Lynbrook Drive - An informant told police she was attacked by her cousin.

 

Monday, Nov. 26

8:17 a.m. - Malicious Mischief - Linda Mar Boulevard - An informant told dispatchers someone drove over their lawn.

10:32 a.m. - Narcotics - Cabrillo Highway and Reina Del mar Avenue - Police arrested a motorist after responding to a report of a possible DUI driver described as an older female with white hair driving haphazardly in both lanes.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 27

9:13 p.m. - Petty Theft - Linda Mar Boulevard - Police responding to a report of a shoplifter stealing booze viewed the stores surveillance video.  

 

Wednesday, Nov. 28

7:20 a.m. - Burglary - Montecito Avenue - Burglars pulled a storage shed door off its hinge in the break-in.

 

Thursday, Nov. 29

6:04 a.m. - Vehicle Stolen - Heathcliff Drive - Incident occurred sometime after 5 a.m.

11:22 a.m. - Vehicle Stolen - Esplanade Avenue - A work van was stolen sometime overnight.

The Pacifica Chamber of Commerce says that "the only person that might is John the Sign Guy.Read More 650.369.1626. Other than that, the Dollar Store in Linda Mar is looking into getting some Pacifica souvenirs. Maybe she’ll order some bumper stickers."

Don't forget to put up posters at the local pet stores, veterinary hospitals, groomers, etc. LostRead More pets are brought into our hospital all the time. Also, be sure to check with the Peninsula Humane Society daily, in case he was picked up and taken there. Good luck finding kitty!
