Police Blotter: Man Attacks Dog; Online Dater Texts Threats

The following information was supplied by the Pacifica Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 30

12:57 p.m. - Vehicle Stolen - Manor Drive - A white Ford Explorer was reported stolen. The theft occurred two days before it was reported to police.

Saturday, Dec. 1

1:10 a.m. - Disturbance/Fight - Eureka Square - Police responded to a report of a subject being attacked with a cue stick.

2:43 a.m. - Burglary - Hickey Boulevard - Police responded to report of unknown subjects in his hallway.

8:35 a.m. - Vehicle Stolen - Salada Avenue - Theft occurred sometime overnight.

3:42 p.m. - Municipal Code Violation - Beachview Avenue - Two men reportedly were selling cleaning products door-to-door without a permit.

 

 

Sunday, Dec. 2

2:28 a.m. - Vehicle Accident - Cabrillo Highway and Manor Drive - Police responded to a report of a rollover crash involving a small vehicle with subjects still inside the vehicle.

7:23 a.m. - Hazardous Condition - Sharp Park near the college turnout - Police responded to a report of a downed traffic light in the middle of the street.  

10:31 a.m. - Special Service - Skyline Boulevard and Hickey Boulevard - Wind turned a traffic signal facing the wrong way.

12:36 p.m. - Malicious Mischief - Pacifica Police Department on Cabrillo Highway - A possible shot to a front windshield was reported on Highway 280 near the Junipero Serra statue.

2:36 p.m. - Burglary - Cypress Pointe on Francisco Boulevard - Burglars broke into a parked car sometime overnight.

4:05 p.m. - Grand Theft - Toledo Court- A subject reported that their father's cash and jewelry were stolen from a safe and that his credit cards had unauthorized charges on them.

 

Monday, Dec. 3

12:18 a.m. - Disturbance - Palmetto Avenue - A person on a ladder reportedly was cutting down branches with a chainsaw, creating a lot of noise and making a neighbor's dog bark.

9:55 a.m. - Burglary - Serena Drive - A person reported their checkbook stolen.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 4

7:01 p.m. - Animal Cruelty - Sharp Park Golf Course - Police responded to a report of a man assaulting a Rottweiler with his fist. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man about 5-foot-10 wearing a Giants' collar shirt and blue jeans. The suspect was associated with a red pick up truck.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 5

12:47 a.m. - Threat Case - Mason Drive - A woman told police a man she met on an online dating site was sending her threatening text messages.

3:34 p.m. - Burglary - Hilton Way - Two burglars reportedly ran away after they were spotted by a subject stealing their tools.

 

Thursday, Dec. 6

9:33 a.m. - Burglary - Crespi Drive - Burglars ransacked a home sometime between after 11:30 p.m. the previous day. It was not known how the burglars entered the home.

14:02 p.m. - Petty Theft - Avalon Drive - A GPS was reported stolen from an SUV the previous night.

5:37 p.m. - Burglary -  Gateway Drive - Thieves broke into a black Acura SUV between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
