Police Blotter: Assault on Linda Mar; 'Boom' on Monterey Alarms Neighbors

Friday, Jan. 4

1:06 p.m. - Burglary -  Inverness Drive - Window-smash break-in occurred overnight.

7:08 p.m. - Petty Theft - Idlewild Court - Computer left on the seat of an unlocked vehicle was reported stolen when the owner ran inside. The incident occurred at 4 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 5

10:15 a.m. - Municipal Code Violation - Sharp Park Road - Large amount of garbage are repeatedly being thrown in the rear parking lot.

10:05 p.m. - Threat Case - Cabrillo Highway - A transient threatened to kill a woman's dog.

11:36 p.m. - Narcotics - Oceana Boulevard/Eureka Drive - Arrest made.

 

Sunday, Jan. 6

1:19 a.m. - Assault - Linda Mar Boulevard - An adult male was laying on the sidewalk bleeding after an altercation.

10:09 p.m. - Malicious Mischief - Salada Avenue - A tenant pulled a camera from a woman's hands and walked across the street and threw it into the ocean.

 

Monday, Jan. 7

10:51 a.m. - Assault - Firecrest Avenue - Police responded to a report of an assault that left a woman with facial abrasions.

12:31 p.m. - Burglary - Reina Del Mar Avenue - Report taken.

1:03 p.m. - Attempt to Locate Stolen Property - Eastridge Circle - GPS tracking on an iPhone stolen in San Francisco led police to a Pacifica location.

2:11 p.m. - Animal Abuse - Cabrillo Highway - Police responded to a report of a man beating up a puppy that was heard whimpering. The subject got into a verbal exchange with another male who asked him to stop.

6:11 p.m. - Burglary - Marina Way - A garage was broken into and front door appears to have been pried open. The incident occurred sometime after 8 a.m.

 

Tuesday, Jan. 8

10:19 a.m. - Vehicle Theft -  Rockaway Beach Avenue - Theft of a silver four-door GMC was reported to police by OnStar vehicle security service.

11:27 p.m. - DUI - Skyline Drive - Arrest made.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 9

11:28 a.m. - Petty Theft - Linda Mar Shopping Center - A suspected shoplifting in progress was reported.

1:18 p.m. - Property for Destruction - A large bullet cache was turned in to police for destruction.

 

Thursday, Jan. 10

2:23 p.m. - Property Incident - Police located a large bag of ammunition for booking.

11:35 p.m. - Suspicious Circumstances - Monterey Road - Police responded to a report of a loud boom that sounded like an explosion or gun shot.
