Police Blotter: Bambi's Boo-Boo and Not My Pizza Pie

A run-down of recent police activity and crime in Pacifica

Mar 8 - 8:46pm: A resident on the 1000 block of Barcelona Drive reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the area for a long period of time. The caller suspected the passengers in the vehicle of marijuana possession, and noted that a lighter was flickering in the car.The vehicle's plate number was recorded, but the passengers were unknown.

Mar 9 - 7:19am: A hit-and-run accident "at the Y" of Reina Del Mar damaged a fence on city property. The damage was done to a portion of the fence that was 15-feet wide. 4:29pm: A vehicle backing out of the teachers' parking lot of reportedly hit a child in the lot. The child had baseball gear on and reportedly was not harmed beyond a scrape on the knee.

Mar 10 - 9:20am: A vehicle was stolen from the private parking lot space of a townhome located on the 1000 block of Oddstad Boulevard. 11:49am: A Pacifica resident reported to Pacifica Police that a known individual had entered their home to threaten to return with a gun. The victim quoted the suspect as saying "I'll shoot you." 5:25pm: A resident on the 1000 block of Crespi Drive reported that two stray pit bulls were loose in the neighborhood, violently trying to attack the caller's dog. The two stray dogs had reportedly injured a deer.

Mar 11 - 2:03pm: The door to a residence on the 1000 block of Everglades Drive was damaged and appeared to have been kicked in. No theft was reported at the property. 2:37pm: An unknown suspect smashed the window of a vehicle at San Jose and Palmetto Avenue to steal a backpack containing various personal items.

Mar 12 - 10:20am: Bambi's boo-boo -- An injured deer was sighted at San Pedro Point. The report was forwarded to the SPCA. 4:48pm: A bicyclist reported that a white van had almost hit him at the intersection of Linda Mar Boulevard and Alicante Drive.

Mar 13 - 8:17pm: A man on the sidewalk of Francisco Boulevard and Salada Avenue was cited for being drunk in public. 8:44pm: Not my pizza pie! Employees of Viva Italiano Restaurant reported that a customer was continually calling the business to make threats to the workers. The customer was reportedly harrasing the business because their delivery did not arrive as quickly as quoted.

Mar 14 - 4:05pm: A caller reported to police that two men were holding another at gun point. Police responded to the call, resulting in the detainment of two juveniles with airsoft guns.
