Police Blotter: Abandoned Meat, a Gargoyle Disappearance and Hulk Hogan

A rundown of recent crime and police activity in Pacifica

Apr 28 - 6:40a.m: An unknown suspect smashed the window of a vehicle parked in a residential driveway on the 1000 block of Fassler Avenue. The suspect stole a briefcase from the vehicle.

Apr 29 - 4:30p.m: A residential RV, parked on the 700 block of Esplanade, was burglarized. An u known suspect entered the vacant RV through an unsecured window and stole $5,045 worth of jewelry. The residents were away at the time. 9p.m: An unknown suspect entered an unoccupied residential trailer and stole personal property valued at $1,825.

Apr 30 - 2p.m: A residence on the 800 block of Linda Mar Boulevard was vandalized overnight by an unknown suspect. The victim noticed the following morning that their front window had been damaged by the bullet of a BB gun.

May 1 - 9:44a.m: A gargoyle disappearance. A resident of the 1000 block of Rainier Avenue reported to Pacifica Police that a gargoyle statue had been removed from the collection at the front of their property. The reporting officer asked the resident to check with friends that it had not been removed as a joke. 1:58p.m: Abandoned meat. An unknown shopper at Linda Mar Center Safeway attempted to leave the supermarket with a cart full of meat and alcohol, valued at $455. According to the Safeway manager, the suspect was unable to get far with the items due to a lock-wheel security feature of the shopping cart. It was unknown if the suspect was intentionally attempting to steal the items.

May 2 - 6:17a.m: A resident reported their car vandalized to Pacifica Police. The caller said that screws had been drilled into their vehicle's tires as it was parked on 200 Beaumont Blvd. 3:18p.m: Hulk Hogan & Road Rage. A reckless driver was reported driving near Oceana Highschool. According to the caller this driver was tailgating, honking and yelling at other vehicles. The caller noted that this driver "looked like Hulk Hogan."
